Ike Boruchow is a Managing Director and Senior Equity Consumer Analyst, Wells Fargo, covering Retailing/Department Stores & Specialty Softlines. Ike was ranked runner-up in the Retailing/Department Stores & Specialty Softlines sector in the Institutional Investor All-America survey in 2018 and 2017; he was named a Rising Star in 2015. He joined Wells Fargo Securities in 2015 from Sterne Agee where he spent three years covering the specialty retail sector focusing on softlines, luxury, and accessories. Before joining Sterne Agee, Ike spent more than three years at J.P. Morgan as vice president and senior associate on the company’s No. 1 Institutional Investor-ranked specialty retail team. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Ike began his sell side career at Morgan Keegan & Co. He earned an MBA in finance from the University of Connecticut and a BS degree in business management from Florida State University.
Roxanne Meyer is the Director of Research and Softlines Retail Analyst at MKM Partners. She draws on 19 years of experience covering the Specialty Retail space to offer investors thoughtful industry reports, detailed analytical work, and stock picking. Prior to joining MKM Partners in 2015, she spent seven years at UBS Securities as an Executive Director, Specialty Retail Analyst, and prior, spent eight years as an Executive Director, Specialty Retail Analyst at CIBC World Markets Corp/Oppenheimer. Roxanne was highly regarded in the Retailing/Specialty Stores category of Institutional Investor’s All-America Research Team, and ranked as a Runner Up in 2010 and 2011. Roxanne holds an MBA degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BBA degree from the University of Michigan, School of Business. She is also a CFA charter holder.
Paul Trussell joined Deutsche Bank in June 2011 and provides lead coverage of the apparel and grocery retail sectors including department stores, dollar stores, discounters, handbags, specialty retail and footwear. In 2012, Paul was a member of the #1 ranked team in the Institutional Investor Survey. Paul has over 14 years of experience in equity research covering a variety of retail sectors. His career began in Chicago, serving as a corporate credit analyst and an associate in high yield bond research. Paul majored in Finance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and he is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Edward Yruma is a Managing Director, Equity Research Analyst with KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. With the company since fall 2008, his research coverage is focused on New Commerce & Softlines companies. Prior to joining KeyBanc Capital Markets, Ed spent eight years with J.P. Morgan, first as a technology and telecommunications investment banker in both San Francisco and New York, and most recently as a Vice President and Senior Business and Consumer Services Analyst. He also serves as a board member for the Retail Marketing Society. He formerly served as a board member for St. John’s Bread and Life, one of the largest soup kitchens in New York City. Ed is a frequent guest on CNBC and Bloomberg, and is regularly quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and The New York Times.
Meet Our Moderator
Liz Dunn is a strategic consultant to retailers and consumer products companies. She is an Operating Partner at Consumer Growth Partners, a private equity and advisory firm, and an Independent Board Member of GameStop. Liz also founded Pro4ma Inc., a market data and predictive analytics platform for retail businesses. Liz has 25 years’ experience in the retail industry. As a top equity analyst, she evaluated the financial performance of retailers for over a decade. Prior to her career in equity research, Liz held finance roles at Gap Inc. and Liz Claiborne. She began her career as a member of the Consumer Investment Banking group at Bear Stearns & Co. Liz frequently appears on CNBC and is quoted in national print media as a retail subject matter expert. She graduated from Spelman College with a B.A. in Economics.
