The Luxury Consumer:
With All That Money to Spend,
What Will She Do?
The mindset, attitudes and behavior of luxury consumers are undergoing a seismic shift.
Prior to COVID-19, expenditures on experiences and travelling were on the upswing. But now, with no place to go, with traditional retail venues under siege, with supply chain challenges impacting product availability, what will motivate consumers with generous discretionary incomes to part with their dollars?
In May and June, Gundell & Company and Landes Advisors joined forces to conduct focus groups and in-depth interviews with women ages 40-59, living in New York City, East Hampton, Dallas and Los Angeles. Average household income: $500K+. Annual spending on apparel and accessories: $50,000+.
Join us for a look at the findings and their implications for marketing to the luxury consumer in both the immediate and future retail environment.
