TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY:

The Back-to-School Question

RMS-Webinar-Series.png

The kick-off to the Fall season begins with Back-to-School, celebrated by parents and reviled by kids. With COVID relatively under control, school will be mostly in person for the first time in three years. Accordingly, that raises a number of questions:

  • With consumers increased spending on travel, entertainment, and dining out, what does that bode for the Back-to-School selling season?

  • What impact is inflation having on the consumer, manufacturer and retailer?

  • Will Back-to-School be more or less promotional than last year?

  • What merchandise categories are expected to show positive/negative trends vs last tear?

  • Will the Back-to-School season be a precursor for Holiday sales?

Join us for an overview of the Back-to-School season so far, predictions for how it will play out, and perspectives on the market from the manufacturing, wholesale, and retail sectors.
