The Retail Marketing Society is an organization for professionals involved in the knowledge business of retailing.
The focus of our society is the retail industry, including direct response (e-commerce and catalog). We explore issues in a variety of segments, including apparel, accessories, cosmetics, supermarkets, electronics and real estate.
The Retail Marketing Society provides its members with a unique opportunity to network and share information across a broad range of disciplines within the retail community.
Our membership includes entrepreneurs, consultants and small business owners, as well as those employed by large organizations such as Merrill Lynch, Tourneau, General Growth Properties, Kleinfeld, Baruch College, Ernst & Young, The Doneger Group, Godiva Chocolatier, Cotton Incorporated, Ibex Construction, The Austrian Trade Commission, JP Morgan and the National Retail Federation.
Membership is by individual, rather than by company, and encompasses many specialties, including marketing, finance, manufacturing, merchandising, operations, wholesale distribution, research, store management, site consulting, real estate development, store design, advertising, business education and executive search.
Monthly meetings (September to June) are held in New York City. Guests are always welcome.
