SOLD OUT!!!

President & CEO, The Children's Place

Our annual "A Conversation with . . ." program features a renowned retail talent. This year we are honored to have Jane Elfers, President & CEO of The Children's Place, as our guest. Her epic turnaround of The Children's Place over the past few years is a success story not to be missed!

Jane Elfers joined The Children's Place as President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2010. She quickly formulated a strategic growth plan focused on Best-in Class Talent, Superior Product, Business Transformation through Technology, Alternate Channels of Distribution, and Fleet Optimization. Jane has delivered several years of industry-leading shareholder returns through a talent upgrade across the company, a relentless focus on product, a complete overhaul of the company's planning and allocation systems, expansion into multiple international markets, the introduction of a digital and brick and mortar wholesale strategy, and most recently, the development of a multi-pronged strategic digital transformation of The Children's Place brand.

Jane is a 34-year retail veteran and a turnaround expert. She previously served as president and CEO of Lord & Taylor, during which time she transformed the ailing brand, saving it from extinction.

Jane began her retail career at Macy's and is a graduate of Bucknell University where she earned her B.S. in Business Administration and currently serves on their Board of Trustees.

The Children’s Place is the largest pure-play children’s specialty apparel retailer in North America. The Company designs, contracts to manufacture, sells and licenses to sell fashionable, high-quality merchandise at value prices, primarily under the proprietary “The Children’s Place,” "Place" and "Baby Place" brand names. As of February 3, 2018, the Company operates 1,014 stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, has an online store and has 190 international points of distribution open and operated by its seven franchise partners in 19 countries.
